MORS Software Embraces Sustainable Travel

At MORS Software, we are proud to be a WWF Green Office company, committed to sustainability in every aspect of our operations. Each month, we focus on a specific theme inspired by WWF’s initiatives, and for September, the spotlight is on Travel.

100% Green Commuting

We are thrilled to announce that 100% of our team members are making environmentally conscious commuting choices. Whether it’s walking, biking, or using public transportation, our team is committed to reducing our carbon footprint. For those few people who do drive, they all choose to park their cars at the nearest train station and complete their commute using public transport.

We, as a company, actively encourage reducing car usage whenever possible. By choosing sustainable modes of travel, we are not only lowering emissions but also supporting a healthier, more active lifestyle.

In addition to green commuting, we strive to minimise the environmental impact of our business travel as well. Whenever possible, we avoid flying and opt for lower-carbon alternatives, such as taking the ferry or train.

The September Step Challenge

To celebrate this month’s theme, we’ve also launched the September Step Challenge. This challenge perfectly aligns with our goal of promoting greener travel and reducing our collective carbon footprint.

We’re encouraging everyone to walk instead of taking a car wherever possible. It’s an exciting opportunity to stay active, boost wellness, and contribute positively to our environment. Every step counts—both for winning the challenge and for the planet!

Why It Matters

Sustainable travel isn’t just about getting from point A to point B; it’s about taking conscious steps towards a greener future. Walking, biking, and using public transportation are small changes that make a big impact. As we engage in this month’s Step Challenge, we’re not only competing to see who can take the most steps but also contributing to a collective effort to lower emissions and preserve our planet.
