Looking for a Business Development Executive

MORS is a fast-growing Helsinki-based FinTech, challenging the established players in Treasury and Asset Liability Management (ALM) systems for banks. We’re around 30 people, employee-owned, and expanding across Europe, which means the person in this role will have real impact, real visibility, and a genuine stake in what we’re building.

The Role

This is a full-cycle commercial role, you’ll own the entire client relationship from first conversation to long-term success. You’ll be selling into banks across an agreed European territory, managing complex enterprise deals, and ensuring the clients you win get maximum value from the MORS platform.

In this market, new business and customer success go hand in hand. A bank that succeeds with MORS becomes a reference, an upsell opportunity, and a door-opener to the next deal. You’ll understand this instinctively.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory, targeting banks that fit our Ideal Client Profile
  • Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Coordinate internal resources (pre-sales, product, implementation) to win and deliver deals effectively
  • Build deep relationships within your client base, driving adoption and identifying expansion opportunities
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, feeding market and product insights back to the development team
  • Work with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing collateral and contribute to marketing communications.

What You Bring

  • Solid understanding of banking, financial risk management, or treasury operations — enough to hold a credible conversation with a bank’s CFO or Head of Treasury from day one
  • A genuine curiosity and drive to deepen your expertise in financial risk, Treasury and ALM. This is a technically rich domain and the best people in it never stop learning.
  • A proven track record in enterprise B2B sales or senior relationship management — ideally with long-cycle, complex deals
  • The ability to make complex products compelling, you can translate technical capability into business value for a senior banking audience
  • Excellent English; additional Nordic or European languages are a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills across a geographically distributed team — this role sits at the centre of a small, tight-knit team and requires working effectively across pre-sales, delivery, and leadership

Location

Helsinki preferred. Other Nordic or Northern European capitals considered for the right candidate.
