MORS Software continues to push forward with purpose-driven sustainability actions in 2025, reinforcing its dedication to environmental responsibility, social impact, and ethical operations. Building on the foundation laid in previous years and guided by the principles of Sisu—persistence, integrity, and respect for nature, MORS has further strengthened its sustainability programme across key operational areas.
At the core of this year’s efforts is the company’s commitment to the WWF Green Office framework. Far from a one-off milestone, the certification remains an active commitment. MORS has implemented a living Environmental Programme with defined targets, indicators, and continuous monitoring. The goal: to not only meet but exceed standards for responsible office operations, waste reduction, and sustainable behaviour.
Carbon Negative by 2030
Aligned with Helsinki’s and Finland’s national goals, MORS is on a clear path to becoming carbon negative by 2030. The firm operates under a digital-first policy, minimises travel emissions, and runs its infrastructure through the energy-efficient Microsoft Cloud platform up to 93% more efficient than traditional on-premise solutions.
Focus Areas
In 2025, MORS continues to embed sustainability into daily operations across seven focus areas:
- Food
- Travel
- Recycling & Cleaning
- Procurement
- Management
- Communications & Engagement
- Energy & Water
Social Responsibility Still Front and Centre
Sustainability at MORS also includes the people side of the business. For the third consecutive year, MORS was recognised as a Great Place to Work, thanks to its emphasis on trust, well-being, and continuous professional development.
As MORS Software moves ahead, it does so with clarity and conviction: sustainability isn’t a side initiative – it’s a core business strategy. With transparency, action, and a no-fuss attitude, MORS continues to set the pace for responsible innovation in financial technology.
